30 DAY RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We are always happy to help at July & Mae

We are happy to accept returns within 30 days of receiving your item in the following circumstances - 

  • The item has been purchased via the July & Mae website
  • We can only refund items that reach us in perfect unused condition;The item is returned in its original condition, unworn with tags.
  • Multiple orders are not combined and are returned using the correct unique return labels.
  • The item is safely packed in its original packaging to avoid damage in transit and details of the return request have been entered in to our returns form as detailed below.
  • Please read the 'The Big Print' below.

So take care when deciding whether to keep your order. Once we receive the returned item, our team will inspect your item(s) to ensure it meets our return criteria.

We understand you have your hands full, that’s why we offer a 30 day hassle-free returns policy. If you change your mind about an item, we will happily accept returns within 30 days of receipt of your order for a full refund. Review ‘The big print’ below for further details.

How to start a return

1. To start a return, simply fill out our returns form here Click the returns form link here. we cannot accept any returns if this form has not been filled in. You do not need to print this off, please simply note your order number inside or on the box.

2. Ensure that all items you wish to return are carefully packed. It is important to return your items in their original, unused condition and in the original package, see our returns policy for more information. 

3. Send your parcel to our warehouse and remember to ask for proof of postage incl. a tracking number from the postal service. We recommend Royal Mail, DPD for easy returns. 

Do you offer free returns?

  • UK Customers

We are a small independent business and cannot offer free returns at this time (we offer free returns if your item in faulty) we will offer free returns as soon as we can, thank-you, we recommend using Royal mail, Please retain the proof of postage receipt from the courier you dropped your return parcel with. If your return does not reach us and you do not have proof of sending the parcel, we will not be able to refund you.

Do your offer exchanges

We don't offer exchanges at this time, please send back your original order and place a new order. 

Processing times for returns

We aim to process returns as quickly as possible, though it may take longer during busy times. Once your return is processed at our warehouse, you'll get an email confirming receipt. Our Customer Services team will handle your refund/exchange request promptly. Please keep proof of postage receipts until your request is complete.

Can I return a faulty item?

We work hard on the quality and craftsmanship of our products, however if there is an issue with your item, we are here to help by offering a refund or replacement within 14 days of purchase. Reach out to our customer service team at hello@julyandmae.co.uk with your name and order number. 

My item is faulty but my purchase date was more than 14 days ago - is there anything I can do?

We are always happy to help at July & Mae and our customers truly mean the world to us, please send an email to hello@julyandmae.co.uk with your name and order number and we will see what we can do. 

How long will my refund take?

Please allow up to 10 days to receive your refund. The refund will be made on to the same payment method used in your original purchase.

Pre-orders can be cancelled free of charge, before they are dispatched. Simply enter your order number beginning with PD and postal code here.

 The big print

  • Faulty or incorrect item, please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, let us know first so that we may assess the issue and make it right. You have 14 days from receipt to let us know and a further 14 days to return the items/order back to us for a full refund.
  • Once your return is approved, we will process your refund within 10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Please put the returns label on the original outer packaging sent & not directly onto the product packaging or box. If you have thrown away the original outer packaging, a box or mailer will do the job, then put the returns label on the front. Thanks!
  • Please keep in mind that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a mistake on our part. In such cases, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return back to us.
  • Please retain the proof of postage receipt from whomever you dropped your return parcel with. If your return does not reach us and you do not have proof of sending the parcel, we will not be able to refund you.
  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know whether the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please be aware it can take 10 working days for the refund to show in your account.
  • If you ordered an item that was in the sale and was faulty (the fault on the product will be clearly stated on the items page) a refund will not be accepted in this case.
